Orientation Tours of Dubai
My personal drive-by tour includes explanations and whereabouts of supermarkets and food shops, speciality shops, clothes, uniform and shoe shops, schools, medical facilities both hospitals and clinics, police stations, places of worship, dry cleaners, post offices, library, hairdressing, banks, furniture stores, appliance shops, material shops, curtain making, electricity and phone companies, advice on road laws, police and emergency services. As well as a quick run-through of what can be found inside the major shopping malls.

To help with familiarisation of local lifestyles and living conditions, the private tour includes information on local culture, a drive-by of some heritage houses, abras (water taxis) and dhows on the creek, as well as the famous gold and spice souqs.

From a lifestyle perspective, the orientation includes an explanation of Dubai ’s expatriate residential areas, beach clubs, public parks and recreational amenities as well as sports facilities.

In a nutshell, all the advice you could want on what is available and where to get it - making it easier to understand and settle into life in Dubai.

My Orientation Tour takes about 5 hours, and is therefore a comprehensive, albeit brief introduction to Dubai . For many people time is of the utmost importance, particularly when first arriving in a new city , and so I have tailored the tour accordingly to maximise your time.

Should you have certain places of particular interest to you, they can easily be included in the tour. For instance riding stables, rugby club, cricket club, anything that is of relevance to you or your family can be accommodated. My tours are completely flexible and can be altered to suit your needs; any special requests should be discussed beforehand to help with better planning of your tour.
